Qualifications

• MBBS General Practitioner
• Senior Lecturer, School of Medicine, University of Wollongong

Ratna emigrated to Australia from Malaysia together with his family in 1976, and completed his high schooling at North Sydney Boys High School. He went on to complete his MBBS at University of N.S.W in 1984, and has worked in the Illawarra since 1985, working in regional hospitals including The Wollongong Hospital, Shellharbour Hospital, Bulli District Hospital, Coledale Hospital, Shoalhaven Hospital, and Bowral Hospital in 1989.

Ratna has been working in General Practice since then, completing his Certificate of Satisfactory Training with the Royal College of General Practitioners.

General Practice interests cover a broad range of over all aspects of General Practice.

Hobbies and interests include Badmington, Gardening, Chess, Philosophy and Spirituality. One day he would love to see equality amongst people the world over.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30-6:00pm Saturday 8.30am-1:00pm
