Sandy
Practice Nurse

Sandy was born in England and emigrated to the Illawarra as a child.

Sandy graduated from the Wollongong Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1974. Following graduation she continued to work in Wollongong's Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Unit.

In the early 80's she left the public health system to work with a Ear Nose and Throat Specialist. When the specialist retired Sandra was thinking of returning to the hospital system until it was suggested she look at nursing in General Practice.

The idea appealed to her and for the past three years she has been working as our Practice Nurse. She is a qualified childhood immuniser.

When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.She enjoys going to the movies, reading a good book, and the occasional walk or swim.
