Skin Cancer Clinic

We are proud to start a Skin Cancer Clinic in our practice. This will be one of the few clinics providing BULK BILLED services.

Dr Navneet Khosa has had training in Advanced Surgery Techniques and in addition to performing a complete skin check for cancers with a hand held dermoscope (a sophisticated instrument for melanoma check), he is able to take biopsies (samples for testing) and take complete cancers out. In many patients this will result in a complete cure. 

He has had training in Skin Flaps Techniques along with Skin Grafts to cover any defects. In these procedures healthy skin can be taken from around the wound or another part of the body to cover the area from where cancers has been cut out.

Dr. Khosa normally sees new patients for a complete skin cancer check every Tuesday, however you may see him anytime if you are worried about a particular mole or an ulcer which is not healing, itching or bleeding without any cause.

Please wear appropriate clothes as a complete skin cancer check will require you to undress upto your under clothing. Samples from suspicious areas may be taken at the same time to be sent for testing and results will be discussed in a followup appointment. Arrangements then can be made for any procedures if needed.
